Description:
Historic Bok Sanctuary was created by first-generation Dutch immigrant
Edward W. Bok, as his gift to the American people. The Sanctuary is home to landscape
gardens designed by the famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr.,
as well as Florida's first and now internationally renowned carillon, which is
encased in a majestic coquina and marble belltower. This has become an annual
ride for TC HOG and has proven to be a very popular destination. Arrangements
have been made with Bok Tower to expedite our processing upon arrival i.e., they
are expecting us and we will be waved through their main gate. We will collect
the group rate admission charge of $8/ person before the start of the ride and
submit the monies to them at their visitor center. So please plan to have the
exact change for this admission charge. A cafe is located on the grounds and salads
and sandwiches can be purchased for $9.50. They also have picnic tables if you
would like to bring a picnic lunch.
